This butterfly clip is used as part of a pull out bowl system for your tobacco hookah. It is placed between a bowl and a short downstem (PSP01 is ideal). The assembly is then placed into a larger downstem and the clip is used to pull out the bowl without burning your fingers. F1 but not threaded, bowl's male threads just slip through it.
